On a rare off day in sunday, i woke up at 7am.. yes ur eyes are not playing tricks on u, it's 7am indeed.. haha.. who on earth got de mind and mood to wake up at such early hours? yes me! haha.. it's tomb-sweeping today, and daddy insists i must be present as i am de eldest grandson this generation.. rather funny in de sense tt they are really ancestors to me, cos i wasn't even born when they left, mummy say not even she seen them b4.. haha.. anyway out of respect, it's really time for me to "visit" them.. went to cck chinese cemetery, 1st ever visit, and it's huge.. we went round in circles b4 finally finding my daddy's grandpa's tomb.. it was followed by alot of procedures, like offering food and fruits 1st, den offer joss sticks to tu di gong, and den throw coins to get "permission" burn offerings.. b4 leaving must oso throw coins get "permission".. haha.. same goes for daddy's grandma's tomb.. last stop was cremation hall, this time is my daddy's grandpa and grandma, but is mother side de.. it was here den i realised y de need to wake up so early, cos it was very packed, and de sun is scorching hot.. i believe i will be sun burn again.. haha.. anyway it was a pleasant experience, and worth de lack of slp..
Shld have spent de rest of de day slping, but instead i went movie chasing.. haha.. 1st up 40 year old virgin.. thanx to jack's hard disk, can save on watching it in theatre or buy vcd/dvd.. haha.. it's not really tt hilarious as i tot it will be.. haha.. but i really like de waxing part, i burst out laughing.. haha.. will i end up a 40 year old virgin? haha.. i think tt's so sad.. haha.. den at nite watch de new police story again.. really like de story, think it's very well written.. haha..
Dinner was at depot rd de new food court.. heard tt it is newly renovated, so went to try it out.. haha.. 1st glance, not bad, lightings and wallpaper were all changed to brighter colours, giving customers a more comfortable feeling den de past.. all of us choose diff food to sample, i ate sweet and sour pork rice, daddy ate fish soup, mummy ate mee soto and ah ma ate mee hoon soup.. haha.. finger food includes satay and gyoza.. in de end, super disappointed with all de food.. haha.. in fact disappointment is an understatement.. haha.. this is de 1st time, and definitely de last we will be dining there.. haha..
